The Muslim International Film Festival (MIFF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to showcasing Muslim excellence in filmmaking.
It provides a unique platform for Muslim filmmakers to share their stories, celebrate their
cultural heritage, and challenge mainstream narratives through the art of cinema. By hosting annual festivals and events, MIFF aims to amplify underrepresented voices in the film industry while fostering a sense of community and collaboration among creators. Through its initiatives, MIFF not only highlights the diversity within Muslim communities but also promotes inclusivity

I enhanced MIFF’s online presence by creating visually cohesive and striking digital content, while also improving workflow efficiency through clear communication, prioritization, and task management. Additionally, I collaborated closely with the art director, Rafay Malik, taking a leadership role in shaping the design direction. Together, we contributed to a stronger and more dynamic visual identity that aligns seamlessly with the organization's mission and brand identity. Below are examples of my graphic design work.

Working with MIFF has been a wonderful experience and has allowed me to learn how to thrive in a fast-paced industry that is constantly evolving and growing each year. Through my experience, I’ve learned to adapt quickly, make effective design decisions, and trust my own voice as a designer. Staying organized with style guides and task lists is crucial for maintaining consistency, while effective communication and asking clarifying questions ensure alignment with project goals. Additionally, setting healthy work boundaries has been key to managing my workload and avoiding creative burnout.
